What is the Finnish-American Project? The Finnish-American Project is a collaboration that began with an American teacher, Tina Spurlock and a Finnish Teacher, Katja Salo. Created in 2016, the project is designed to create a global classroom. Students from Maijamaki School in Naantali, Finland and students from El Capitan High School in Merced, California, U.S. work together via the internet to learn about each other, gain cultural tolerance, and discuss global issues.
